How to Import Açaí Powder: MOQ, COA & Logistics Guide

The hardest part of importing açaí has always been logistics: heavy liquid bags, strict cold-chain rules, short shelf life and high freight. Freeze-dried powder removes most of that friction. This is the practical sequence we use with B2B buyers worldwide.

1. Minimum order and samples

Start with a technical sample. Our minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 10 kg, ideal for validating quality, color, solubility and recipe fit before committing to volume. Volume pricing scales up to 100 kg, and orders above 100 kg receive a custom quote. Sample freight is quoted separately by destination.

2. Documentation

Every shipment travels with standard export paperwork, so customs clearance is predictable:

• Commercial Invoice (stamped and signed)
• Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the product batch
• Certificate of Origin
• Health / sanitary declaration
• Packing list and Bill of Lading

3. Freight and lead time

Samples ship by international air freight, typically arriving within about 7 days. Volume orders move as standard dry cargo (no refrigeration) in 20-foot containers — FCL or LCL. Production lead time is usually 7–12 business days after order confirmation and initial payment.

4. Customs and tariff classification

Açaí powder is classified under HS 1106.30 (NCM 1106.30.00). Because it is shelf-stable and ambient, it avoids cold-chain customs complications. Incoterms are flexible — EXW, FOB or CIF — negotiated to fit your import operation.

5. Payment

Samples are paid in advance. For recurring supply, terms are negotiable, and payment is typically by T/T (bank transfer) or L/C (letter of credit). We support importers and distributors in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
