A meaningful açaí powder price per kilogram starts with a defined product. A quote for pure freeze-dried fruit is not directly comparable with a spray-dried formula containing a carrier, a flavored blend or a product offered under different freight terms. Procurement should normalize the specification before ranking suppliers by price.

Price per kg is not cost per serving

For a beverage, bowl, bakery or supplement formula, the decision metric is landed ingredient cost per finished unit. Divide landed cost per kilogram by the validated number of servings per kilogram, then add other ingredients, packaging, labor and process loss. A more concentrated powder can cost more per kilogram and still cost less in the finished recipe.
